    Product Features

Propecia, a drug used to slow the progression of male pattern baldness

The active ingredient, finasteride, inhibits the activity of 5-alpha reductase.

Finasteride, the active ingredient in PropeciaHowever, by reducing the incidence of substances that cause hair loss,Prevents hair thinningIt is said to be effective.

There are many causes of male pattern baldness, including:Dihydrotestosterone (DHT) produced in the body is one of the factors that affect hair loss.It is said that "dihydrotestosterone (DHT)" is generated when "5-alpha reductase" in the hair papilla cells in the hair root converts "testosterone," a type of male hormone.
The active ingredient in Propecia, finasteride, inhibits the activity of 5-alpha reductase, thereby preventing the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT).
It is believed that blocking the activity of "5-alpha reductase" and suppressing the development and promotion of "dihydrotestosterone (DHT)" is an effective treatment for male pattern baldness.

In addition, the active ingredient, finasteride, has an activity-suppressing effect on "5-alpha reductase", but it also has an effect on other hormone systems.Extremely few side effectsThis is also a point that deserves attention.

Domestic clinical trials of the active ingredient, finasteride

In domestic clinical trials, the active ingredient, finasteride, was confirmed to have a better improvement rate in male pattern baldness in subjects than the results of those given a placebo.
In overseas trials, photographic evaluation of subjects administered 1 mg of finasteride five years later showed that:It has been confirmed that patients with 90% experienced an effect of slowing the progression of hair loss and improving the condition.
